Founder and director of i4Life an NGO providing care to children in Zambia.
Extensive training and teaching experience. Doctoral Candidate at the IPA, UCD.

Roisin Molloy: Chairperson

Roisin is Head of Merck Serono, Ireland. Roisin was Clinical Nurse Manager in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin for 10 years as an Oncology Nurse Specialist. Roisin then provided palliative care in the home where her specialist skills enabled her to administer chemotherapy to clients at home,. Roisin is a member of An Bord Altranais and an active member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Division of Merck. Since 2007, Merck has been supporting the WHO in the fight against schistosomiasis with the Merck Praziquantel Donation program and to date, more than 74 million patients in total in 23 African countries have been treated.

Dr Kevin Connolly:

Dr. Kevin Connolly is a retired Paediatrician. Kevin has developed Immunisation Training Programme. Member of NIAC (National Immunisation Advisory Committee Ireland) on which he chairs the Paediatric sub-committee. Kevin is a member of the Advisory Committee for Human Medicines of the Irish Medicines Board and the Irish Representative on the Paediatric Committee of the European Medicines Committee. Kevin is Medical Director of i4Life since it’s inception, and has worked in a shanty town in Zambia for short periods 2-3 times per year since 2010.

Carmel Whiriskey Fertility Nurse Specialist, RM, RGN.

Carmel currently works with a progressive and dynamic IVF unit based in Galway City where her specialties include ultrasound scanning, venepuncture and co-ordination of Client care. Working with Mothers and their partners, Carmel is committed to Health Education including the promotion of vaccinations in the Infant.

Joan Whiriskey

Voluntary i4Life Company Secretary

Joan began working as an Administrator with i4Life since 2012. Joan has a background in Administration from the private sector. As an Administrator, Joan supports and assists the i4Life Team with the day to day office administration duties. Joan has now incorporated the role of the Company Secretary as part of her duties

Grace Sweeney:

Grace has a BA degree in Applied Social Studies and she works part-time with adults with intellectual disabilities since 2004 in Tuam, Co. Galway. She supports i4life on a voluntary basis with office administration.

Michael Byrne

Michael is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years’ experience in financial services. He holds a diploma in corporate governance from The Institute of Directors.
